GO Workforce LoA3 is a qualified service that meets the requirements for eIDAS Substantial as they are defined by the DIGG (Agency for Digital Government) trust framework. It ensures a high confidence level of assurance through robust identity verification and authentication, including verification and full lifecycle management. The service can be used to issue and manage official eIDs on smart cards and smartphones for goverment employees in Sweden.

Trusted identities made easy
The quality symbol for officially approved eIDs shows that the solution has been qualified by the Swedish Goverment and can be trusted. It is Digg (the Agency for Digital Government) that carries out the qualification in accordance with the Trust Framework for Swedish e-identification (Svensk e-legitimation). Digg verifies that the e-credential meets the level of assurance that the provider has specified in its application.
The level of assurance of an eID solution shows how safe and reliable the eID is, both in terms of technical and administrative security. Public and private actors can then use the level of assurance in their risk assessment to determine whether the solution corresponds to the security required to log in to their e-services. For the Swedish eID at LoA3, the intention is that it should provide the same level of protection as the traditional physical ID document.
How does it work
GO Workforce LoA3 simplifies the lifecycle management of identities and credentials based on certificates through streamlined processes. During the on-boarding process, a customer-specific certificate authority (CA) will be deployed in Nexus secure cloud. The issuance of the identities can be handled by Registration Officer or by the user through the self-service portal, depending on your requirements.
GO Workforce provides flexibility for the user, enabling trusted identities stored on a smart card, virtual smart card, mobile virtual smart card and secure tokens that can be used for two-factor authentication and digital signing.
