Orange secures corporate identities with Smart ID

Orange, a leading provider of telecommunications services in Europe and Africa, has selected IN Groupe and Nexus to enable the secure issuance and management of its corporate identity cards.

This case shows the strength of Nexus and IN Groupe together where the Card Personalization service from IN Groupe is delivered as an integrated service in the overall solution. The joint offering will provide Orange’s 100 000 employees with professional and secure RFID encoded ID cards.

Nexus Smart ID Identity Manager replaces the legacy system, and the Smart ID Physical ID management component will enable Orange to automate processes and have control of the entire card lifecycle management. It also gives them self-service capabilities for end-users which will allow users to easily manage their cards.

Orange will have a complete solution based on best practices use cases to personalize, issue and manage cards with visual ID and RFID during the full lifecycle as well as the expertise of both companies.

Orange is a long-standing customer of IN Groupe and was one of the first joint projects since Nexus joined IN Groupe.
