We are proud and pleased to announce that Region Stockholm, which consists of 26 municipalities with nearly 2.4 million inhabitants (which corresponds to over 26,7 percent of the total population in Sweden) has selected the Nexus Smart ID PKI platform to issue secure digital identities and protect IT devices and hospital equipment.
Region Stockholm Nexus Smart ID to issue and manage the lifecycle of millions of certificates in the years to come, using automation protocols like ACME and EST. It is critical to improve usability, self-service, automation and governance (approvals/issuance/audit) when providing trusted identities to a mixed end-point environment including both domain endpoints (machines and servers) and non-domain endpoints (dev ops servers, mobile devices or networking devices).
Upcoming use cases are as well secured authentication and electronic signatures.
