Nexus partners with Alibaba Cloud to offer trusted identities as a service

We are pleased to announce that Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, will incorporate the Nexus Smart ID portfolio creating a joint offer to issue and manage trusted identities for their customers. This joint offer will include, for example, a solution for enabling trusted and PKI based identities for V2X (Vehicle-to-Anything) in the Chinese market.

This new partnership will also help both companies to offer new and existing customers the ability to set up Nexus’ full Smart ID solution as a service on the Alibaba Cloud platform. This will be available as a service in China or globally.

“Partnering with Nexus is a no-brainer choice," says Toni Cheng, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud DACH & CEE Region. “We strive to provide world-class technology services and by doing so, we enable our customers to enjoy smarter and more secure services.”
