Nexus bolsters executive team with new VP Engineering

Nexus is thrilled to announce Tazrian Khan has been appointed as the new Vice President of Engineering. She will also join the company’s senior management team starting from February 1, 2021.

Tazrian Khan joins Nexus with 20 years of experience and a critical depth of knowledge in product management and development within computer networking domain, embedded, cloud, telecom and enterprise solutions. Her experience working in international and multi-cultural environments will be a great asset to the Nexus team. Tazrian Khan expresses excitement in being able to contribute to the digital transformation that converges physical and digital security and delivers customers’ success via the Nexus Smart ID platform.

Currently, the Nexus engineering team is staffed with over 90 talented developers and engineers in over 4 countries. Tazrian’s leadership, extensive background and passion for collaboration will help drive this team even further looking into 2021 and beyond.

Diversity and Women at Nexus

Nexus is not only excited to have a skilled VP Engineering come on board but to also add another woman to the senior management team, making the composition now 30% women. In many industries, there is continued discussion about gender equality. Female managers at Nexus have increased from 9% to 20% within less than 2 years and we are striving to constantly improve.
