Physical access control
Nexus supplies different kinds of RFID cards, key fobs and photo ID cards – and everything you need to manage their entire life cycle. We also offer an attractive, flexible and robust RFID reader.
There are several types of card technologies available on the market today, and many different visual security elements that can be added to your cards. We help you find the right cards or key fobs for your organization.
Access card personalization
We can configure and produce your cards and key fobs for you, with the option to integrate the ordering portal into systems such as your HR system or ID life-cycle management software (from Nexus or another vendor).
You can also personalize and issue your cards on premises – we provide all the equipment and consumables you need, such as card printers, blank cards, self-service stations, software and software development tools, which offer functionality for designing, printing and encoding cards.
To make sure that the right person gets the right card or key fob, and that the entitlements are correct throughout the whole credential life cycle, you need an automated workflow with approval steps, user self-service stations and connections to other systems such as enterprise directories, HR systems and physical access control systems. Nexus also offers solutions for this, that support organizations with several different door access systems and many different types of ID cards with various access rights.
With our life-cycle management solution, you do not have to replace any of your existing systems, such as physical access control systems – our solution operates as a layer on top of your other systems, so that you can streamline your processes and avoid the limitations of each of your existing systems.
The Cidron RFID reader
We also offer the RFID reader family Cidron, which combines the latest technology with an attractive and customizable design. It and can easily be integrated into most physical access control systems, and it supports all standard access cards on the market.
