Nexus expands in Southeast Asia with the appointment of Carter Tan

As the world faces an ever-growing threat of cyber-attacks, organizations are ramping up their investments in cybersecurity. The Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, has become a focal point for bolstering digital defenses.

With the aim of strengthening their presence in this important market, Nexus – part of the French IN Groupe, is proud to announce the addition of Carter Tan to the Digital Services team in Singapore. Carter will be working closely with Bhavin Shah, Nexus’ Regional Manager for Southeast Asia and India, to spearhead the cybersecurity efforts in the region.

Carter Tan, a seasoned cybersecurity expert, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for tackling the challenges posed by an increasingly connected society. Having spent over a decade in the cybersecurity industry, Carter has held pivotal roles at leading companies such as Microsoft and Ensign.

"I am thrilled to be part of the Nexus team and to work alongside Bhavin Shah. Nexus’ commitment to delivering best-in-class security solutions aligns perfectly with my vision of creating a safer digital ecosystem," Carter says, expressing his excitement about joining the organization.

Tan is a graduate of the National University of Singapore, where he studied Computer Science. He is also a certified IAM professional from the Identity Credential and Access Management Alliance (ICAA).

"We are excited to expand our operations in Southeast Asia and Carter is a key part of our plans," said Bhavin Shah. "He is a highly experienced and talented IAM professional, and I am confident that he will help us to grow our business in the region."
