Hubject selected Nexus' IoT PKI

Nexus enables seamless vehicle charging through Hubject

Hubject selected Nexus' IoT PKI as a Service to enable a seamless and secure service for its partners and customers.

The future digital economy will rely on transportation and enabling trusted identities for connected and autonomous vehicles will be instrumental in realizing this vision. Hubject has kickstarted a fully automated charging experience and plays a key role in assuring the enablement of a digital and cross-border charging network for electric vehicles.

Hubject has solidified their position as a market enabler and industry expert which makes their operation of the V2G Root CA a natural progression. Through a cloud service from Nexus, Hubject provides ISO 15118-compliant PKI as a first-of-its-kind based on the latest ISO 15118 standard, including the usage of X.509 v3 certificates, TLS and cipher suites.

The cloud-based PKI service provided by Nexus is in line with Nexus strategy to provide large scale infrastructure services. The service can manage a large-scale implementation of identities to the Hubject eco-system, and includes a managed service with multiple CAs, OCSP service and certification pooling services based on REST.

Nexus Managed Services is ISO 27001 and TISAX certified and provides a cloud service located in a secure data center.

Empowering our partners to reach their business objectives is instrumental for Nexus, and we are pleased to observe Hubject's continued growth with one example being selected by Electrify America (https://www.hubject.com/en/electrify-america-and-hubject-collaborate/).
