Diversity and Women at Nexus
Nexus is not only excited to have a skilled VP Engineering come on board but to also add another woman to the senior management team, making the composition now 30% women. In many industries, there is continued discussion about gender equality. Female managers at Nexus have increased from 9% to 20% within less than 2 years and we are striving to constantly improve.
We are proud to have leaders with different backgrounds at Nexus. We believe an inclusive workplace starts at the top and echoes throughout the company. This is achieved by hiring diverse team members with various backgrounds and experiences and we will continue to recruit this way. In the last year, even with the COVID pandemic, 30% of new hires have been women. While IT and Cybersecurity can be seen as male-dominated industries, Nexus is pleased to share that we are working hard to negate this trend while continuing to hire top talent.
