Nexus is to reinforce its market presence by integrating the subsidiary Nexus ID Solutions into the German-speaking DACH region
Today, we are very pleased to be able to announce another milestone on our growth path: Nexus Technology GmbH, based in Ettlingen, is to take over neXus ID Solutions GmbH in Dusseldorf with retroactive effect from 01 April 2016. The merger will help us further enhance our position in the Identityand Access Management market in the DACH region.
Nexus ID Solutions GmbH came into existence upon the acquisition of INTRAPROC GmbH, then based in Ratingen, in 2013 by neXus. It has been strengthening the hardware scope in our portfolio ever since.
A specific goal of the merger is to increasingly pool our software and hardware expertise through our joint market presence. Our customers in the DACH region will in future be able to access the whole spectrum of solutions and services we offer from one source.
Peter Alpmann, current Managing Director of Nexus ID Solutions, will from now on be responsible for sales of Hardware and ID Cards as Head of Sales DACH at the new office location.
