Nexus reorganizes to create a truly global company

Swedish-owned identity and security company Nexus Group integrates its German organizational structure into its global structure, and appoints two new managing directors for Germany. “This will give us a more consistent market presence, and further strengthen our cloud and partner business,” says Lars Pettersson, CEO of Nexus.

Germany is one of the most important markets for Nexus, and the company also has a big part of its development team there.

“Some of the German functions are already merged with the central functions, and now we will merge the rest, such as support, service and staff functions,” says Pettersson.

Creating a truly global organization

From October 1, 2017, Volker Kunz, vice president international at Nexus, and Anders Berg, CFO at Nexus, will be managing directors for Nexus in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

“This will create a truly global organization, which will drastically improve our ability to use our resources in the best possible way. This will also give us a chance to allocate resources and competences where we need them the most,” says Pettersson.

Similar market needs all over the world

Due to the effect of this reorganization, the VP DACH role will end. Ralph Horner, vice president of DACH since November 2016, will leave the company.

“Ralph has done a terrific job with promoting the market growth of Nexus in the region. Now that we have also created this extremely efficient and streamlined organization, it makes our future look very bright. The need for identity and security solutions for physical and digital access is similar all over the world, and our impressive customer base will facilitate our expansion to new markets,” says Kunz.
